As God's change agents, we leave people in a better state after our encounters.
In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Revelations 22:2 (NKJV)
The Tree of Life Ministries was founded in 2002 by Azzie Lee Byerly. The first of this ministry was bible classes that sprang from her bail bonding business. She held her classes under a pine tree where God's people congregated. From there she established several auxiliary ministries that created a legacy.
Azzie's grief therapy sessions brought relief, deliverance, and peace to those who suffered various losses. Healing scriptures in the form of bibles and tracks were distributed to the public. She also started prison and deliverance ministries. Testimonial ministries were available for people who wished to share their testimonies with others. She recorded historical stories from the elderly on tapes.
The Tree of Life Ministries brought about a great change in the lives of many people far and near before her work was finished on July 23, 2010. Azzie Byerly took such joy in her work! She was deeply honored to be a servant in the Army of the Lord. She is missed dearly and her memory will be forever cherished by those whom she taught or ministered to.
The Tree of Life Ministries was re-established on March 6, 2019, by Fredrick and Traci Byerly. Although they serve all of God's people, a hallmark specialization of their ministry is forming partnerships and aiding other ministries and leaders. They provide support by sowing into every good work in which the Holy Spirit impresses them to be a blessing for.
Another special emphasis of their ministry is placed on those who are at risk. Fredrick and Traci extend their hospitality to guests invited into their home to address their needs more carefully. Guests enter a safe place of refreshment where they can feel comfortable, find trust, and confidentiality to be transparent.
This type of environment helps to initiate many positive changes into their houseguests' lives. As a result, they tend to leave much better than when they first arrive. The guest accommodations include food and lodging, which can range from one to three days, depending on needs.
We are equipped and willing to address the needs of God's people by meeting them where they are and assisting them in becoming more Christ-like. We minister the Gospel of the Kingdom of God through promoting salvation, healing, deliverance, and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to foster change for His glory.
